Missions Focus Beyond the US

6,536,114,307 The population of planet Earth
These numbers from the US Census Bureau Pop Clock

That means, as of today, the United States comprises just 4.58% of the world population!

Those numbers have caused tremendous unrest in me over the last couple of weeks. One day I will enter the heavenly throne room and bow before my Lord and my King. On that day I long to hear him say one thing to me, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Yet how faithful could I be if I spend my entire life, even as a pastor, only concerned about 4.58% of the world? I could never be considered “a man after God’s own heart” if I only have 4.58% of God’s heart. (more…)
